Santan time

"You're surprised it's quiet? This is England we're talking about, the sunshine comes out and it's like a state of emergency for everybody to go out in the sun!"
-customer-

I'm now a patchwork of shades. From working outside in the terrace I've developed watch tan lines, sock lines, skirt lines and t-shirt lines. From touristing around London with my cousin yesterday despite the aid of her SPF130 sunblock (only in Asia can you find SPF 130!) I've developed another layer of watch tan lines, rubber band lines, sunglasses marks, elbow-down tan lines from my top, shorts lines, and odd pumps tan lines. Today at work the skirt tan line is going to be stencilled on me again, just below the shorts tan lines. And because I've been reading way too many scares of sun spots and skin cancer articles I'm not even going to bother 'fixing' them (and I don't find intentionally baking myself in the sun appealing anymore anyway), so I will be nature's artwork walking around for the next couple of months.

Don't think I'm going to stand out much though, I'm swarmed in a city of red, burnt patchwork people too :)
