How did I miss this?

I wonder in what parallel universe I was living in over the past 2 months.

So apparently I was supposed to apply for Olympics tickets in May 2012. 

Everything I want to watch is pretty much sold out except for the odd events that don't interest me at all and opening/closing ceremony tickets are £1000-£2000 a pop now from the initial £300 vip suite tickets. :/

If I don't get lucky over the next few weeks then I guess maybe there will be luck, money and holidays for Rio 2016.
