What is a 'Crit'?

A crit, (critic, critique) is a day where you torture yourself the night before, rolling around with pages of drawings on the floor, verbally abusing your laptop either 1.crying or b)crying harder,

running to uni (and in any unfortunate event that tends to happen right on the day of crits i.e. you get run over by the bus, or are wheelchair bound for some reason, you will still race your mangled, broken self out of A&E to uni for the 10am deadline), pinning up your work and then getting depressed over other people's 1 million sheets wall paper-ing the area, stepping in front of an audience of tutors and other fellow battlemates (who are also yet to be slaughtered) with hands raised saying "I come in peace", babbling nonsense and even losing your speech ability after being so sleep deprived, getting executed by the tutors anyway, (comments always seem to give a hidden, but screaming slogan of "YOUR PROJECT IS PANTS" somehow) raising your white flag in defeat, and going away either 1.depressed that you got slaughtered with abuse b.)depressed that your crit was ok but now you have to go home and do 10 million more things to improve it.
