it's no sacrifice at all

Sometimes in life you just have to sacrifice your pride and admit defeat

even though you know you're not in the wrong. These are the times when it's not about who's wrong or who's right, but more about tolerance and maintaining peace and civil ties between two parties. Only one winner ever really emerges from any game;

and for this part it is not the person who has the right answer or the person who walks away with the smug look that he or she has defeated the other- it is the person who has had the humility to step back and let the other trample all over him or her regardless of pride, because at the end of the day it is the humility that has retained all the peace in the world.
