Enlightenment

Last night while waiting for what seemed like eternity at the bus stop
in the cold, out of boredom the guy next to me started making light conversations.
I found out that he was from Saudi Arabia, and while he wrongly guessed that I was from Thailand
(Thailand, seriously?) it came quite a surprise to him when I mentioned that Eid Adha (Hari Ray Korban if I'm not mistaken?) was coming up, and asked if he was celebrating.

"So you're a Muslim?"

"Me?No, I'm a Christian but I've many Muslim friends and Malaysia is a Muslim country so we do know quite a bit about these things"

"Ahh I see. Well, Christian, Muslim, we're all the same, no? There really is no difference, we all believe in God. You believe in Jesus, we do too under the name Isa..We're all the same."
he answered good naturedly with a smile and comical gestures.

I don't know why but I felt quite touched by that and wished there world consisted of more people like him.
God bless his heart.
