I've also written down some quotable critiques from tutorials/crits before... Some tutors just have a knack for word choice. =S
ReplyDeleteDo most people still stick to drawing boards and pencils? I was chatting with Icam yesterday and he hasn't used autoCAD either! Personally I dah serik nak pegang scale rule and getting black pencil-dusty hands. @_@
ahh tell me about it, some are harsh!! one of my friends brought a sketchbook to the tutorial and got told "i see you're planning to repeat the third year" just because he didnt have properly presented stuff :S.
ReplyDeletesurprisingly we're using Vectorworks, not autoCAD..but i think most of the time we just use vectorworks for the final pages before crit/hand in..at the early stages of the project we still do hand sketches, dunno why our lecturers prefer hand/ mix media drawings more than computer ones!
