Take on Me

Sad to say since uni started my bass has been accumulating little specks of dust;

it's been difficult finding the time to play it and making sure it's at an acceptable hour so my neighbours don't start a hate club. 

Today,however, I managed to squeeze in some procrastination time to learn a quick bass line. 

Little mistakes as usual, just couldn't be bothered to re-record. :)

I LOVE this song and was so tempted to sing along except:
1.It really is difficult to sing and play the bass line at the same time without one or the other going out of sync.
2. I seriously don't want to be responsible for the bleeding ears that follow.

Also, a friend told me that apparently, bass players have absolutely wonky hands because the fingers on the left hand stretch more than necessary to reach the frets and so when bass players put two hands together, one will be longer than the other.

Um, i'm not sure how i'm supposed to feel about that lol.

p/s buzzing sound towards the end comes from my ever failing laptop which is ready to be chucked into the sea. (my friends poke fun at it saying it's like having a motorcycle in the room)
